That Choir was formed in the spring of 2008 by Craig Pike and 14 of his actor friends who wanted to create and share a music experience together. That Choir now brings together over 25 members with diverse backgrounds in work and study, and a mixture of trained and untrained voices. New Canadian artists are important for That Choir to nurture and have already performed new works by J. Scott Brubacher as well as Reza Jacobs in December 2010. Also in December of 2010, That Choir invited Canadian Theatre Artist Nancy Palk to read Dylan Thomas's " A Child's Christmas in Wales" as part of That Choir Carols - an annual celebration of the Holidays. As That Choir looks forward into 2011, it is becoming well known for its a cappella repertoire of many styles and periods with a strong focus on storytelling.  less

We're a group of young professionals who specialise in early music, but Polyphony especially. The singers are made up of Cathedral choral scholars and Oxbridge choral scholars. They're directed by Matthew Collins.

Members saw the need for a name which reflected their distinctive sound and musical objectives. They chose Voyces – a uniting image, powerful in its simplicity, a word with a bit of a twist, reflecting the eclectic and often unusual repertoire of the choir. In using the archaic spelling – ‘Voyces’ – the choir acknowledges thousands of years of rich choral tradition whilst establishing itself in the 21st century choral landscape. The choir is fast making a name for itself premiering works never before heard in Perth or in fact the world. Voyces seeks to be an interactive and involved performing group in the local WA and wider Australian musical community. Conspirare was founded in 1991 to present a summer classical music festival in Austin, Texas. Since then, the organization has grown rapidly to become an internationally recognized, professional choral organization that combines outstanding vocal artistry with innovative programming. Led by renowned founding artistic director Craig Hella Johnson, Conspirare is comprised of two adult ensembles and two youth choirs.
