- for Solo voice & Piano.
As The piece hasn't been performed by a choir yet, you can listen to The original version. Here are The lyrics:
Calmly, my soul is ready to go.
Now, it is time to say 'Goodbye'.
Yes, it is time to say 'Goodbye'.
In my mind all is beautiful.
In my mind, all is beautiful in my mind.
Still my heart is so close to your heart,
But The time comes to say 'Goodbye'.
Sadly, it's time to say 'Goodbye'.
In my mind all is beautiful.
And from up There, I will ask all The angelsTo take care of you my love.
And, I will pray every day and I will wait
'Til you come find me above. less

A joik is a unique form of cultural expression for The Sámi people (or Lapps - region stretches over four countries: Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Russia). This type of Song can be deeply personal or spiritual in nature, often dedicated to a human being, an animal, or a landscape as a personal signature. According to music researchers, joik is one of The longest living music traditions in Europe, and is The folk music of The Sámi people. Its sound is comparable to The traditional chanting of some Native American cultures.
This is from The OK Chorale's second public concert in March 2013 at St. Mary's Church, Woodbridge, Suffolk, UK. less
