Its goal is to provide a quality opportunity for choral singers to learn or improve Their craft. The chorus sings a wide variety of music, including classical, spiritual, folk, Broadway and old Standards. The group presents two concerts each year – at Christmas, and in The Spring. It has performed with The Temecula Vintage Singers, and for The Temecula Arts in The Country festival, as well as many local appearances for deserving organizations. The chorus rehearses and performs in The Temecula area. The chorus is one of The Resident Companies performing at The Old Town Temecula Community Theater. All women are welcome, who can carry a tune and love to sing. The chorus is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with Tax ID: 20-1694150.  less

The Spinnakerettes reach a new high in 2014. Presenting Their best performance to date: The girls were very happy to come home to Portsmouth with a 5th place medal. Hooray!!!

The Sierra Boys Choir is The new revival of The Sierra Boys Choir in The 1970s, which was active in The Reno/Sparks/Carson City area and directed by Stan Burke. When Mr. Burke joined The Mario Singers and left to move to Long Beach, CA, The choir was disbanded and a hole was left in The local arts and culture scene. The revival of The choir is a project (and passion) of Nathan Lundholm. Our goal is to provide musical and artistic opportunities to The boys while teaching Them to be generous and thankful members of The local and global community. Our aim is to be fun and entertaining on many levels, from practices to shows, even to social events on The town. We put all volunteers through a background check, and we ask some degree of participation from parents. The Sierra Boys Choir is a 501c3 non-profit corp. Through his diligent guidance, The group has impressed its audiences with The depth and range of its interpretive skills in performances of a capella early music repertoire. ESPRIT was awarded a first prize at The Peel Music Festival in April 2012, and is The proud recipient of The Hon. Barbara A. Hagerman Award for first place at The 2012 Ontario Provincial Music Festival. In August 2012, ESPRIT was awarded second place in The Canadian Nationals of The Federation of Canadian Music Festivals (Class 100 - Honourable Barbara A. Hagerman – Best performance by a community choral group 19 and up). Spera means hope in Latin, and it is a members’ shared vision on music. All members studied a sacred choral music under Koji Oguchi, choir director, when They were high school students. They were deeply touched by Oguchi’s music and established The Ensemble Choir SPERA. Making its debut in concert in March 2014 at Tokyo Opera City Recital Hall, SPERA’s music was highly prized and well-reviewed in newspapers. It serves in Masses and services and performs in concerts as an ecumenical choir, composed of students from Kitasato University, International Christian University, Hitotsubashi University and Rikkyo University.
