Due to its diligent and devoted work, with repertoire including pieces by Croatian and other authors spanning from the Renaissance to the 21st century, the Choir reached high quality of interpretation, soon recognized by audience. After many successful performances in Split and the region, the Choir started to participate in various national and international choral competitions, having achieved notable results. Thus, the short but interesting history of the Choir includes: - 3rd place at “Croatian Choral Assembly” in 2009 and 2011, and 1st place at this competition in 2010, 2012 and 2013; - two silver certificates at international choral competition “Slovakia Cantat 2010”; - awards won at the competition “Cro Patria” (3rd award of the jury in 2010 and 1st award of the audience in 2012); - two silver medals at World Choir Championships held in Graz in Ju...    less

We have a varied repertoire of well-known pop and jazz songs, as well as the occasional folk song. A Mixed Choir or various age groups, we have regular concerts in the Berlin region, but also further afield, often abroad. The attached picture is from our 2014 concert at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall. We are keen to hear from anyone who would like to sing with us, but also from other Choirs interested in clubbing together with us for a concert or two.  less

Since the beginning, Rev. Lee Chong Min – a reverend as well as a professor of the School of Church Music, Singapore Bible College – has been appointed to be the Choir master of the Chamber Choir. In 1997, the Choir name was changed to Jakarta Festival Chorus in order to reach out more participants from evangelical churches in Jakarta. Jakarta Festival Chorus is currently under the Music Department of the Communion of Chinese Churches in Indonesia (PGTI). The members now are choristers and sacred Music lovers from different churches in Jakarta. For these past ten years, JFC has dedicated itself to regularly perform some great classical works from the famous composers, such as, The Messiah – Handel (2000), The Creation – Haydn (2003), Elijah – F. Mendelssohn (2004), Psalm 95 & Hymn of Prai...    less

To enrich our society, educate our communities, and develop our singers, we preserve the past, promote the present and foster the future of the choral art. Meistersingers was formed in Orange County, California, in 2000 as a response to a growing demand for quality choral Music performance. Created to be a chamber ensemble specializing in demanding classical choral works, Meistersingers maintains high standards in literature and chooses outstanding performance venues with beauty and elegance equal to the Music. We are committed to continuing this path and expanding our influence in the Music community through different means such as composition competitions and scholarships. Our goal is to ensure the continued growth of the choral art.  less
