Building upon the inspiration from such groups as Rajaton, the King’s Singers, and the Real Group, Six has charted a unique path, combining Choral, pop, world, and folk influences, surprising audiences everywhere with the versatility and blend of their voices. To categorize their genre is difficult; to experience their music is indescribable. the members of Six come from entirely different musical backgrounds. Primarily, we are singing in our parish here in Angat, Bulacan and using the talent that was given to us to serve God every sunday and any other liturgical celebrations. We give you the pleasure of enjoying fine music and knowing you are a part of a musical community - a team that enriches the life of all of us. We currently have about 50 members. We feature a variety of music from popular to classical. Our selections are fun and challenging for singers and entertaining and rewarding for audiences. Open rehearsals for potential new members are held in September and January at the beginning of the rehearsal seasons. No formal auditions are held, but we do expect new members to be experienced in four part Choral singing, and to have some ability to read along with sheet music. We are always concerned with maintaining a good balance of voices, and we cannot promise to accept all applicants.
