It is well known as an iconic music venue attracting major artists. It is also a centre for social justice and community activities. The church has also created several unique events led by our musicians. These have included our annual Christmas Candlelight service, Good Friday evening performances and smaller events to commemorate such occasions as Black History Month, a remembrance event in The Covid pandemic. Besides The usual church festivals, we also have special services for Refugee Week, Gay Pride, Holocaust Memorial, and oTher special commemorations. EC4 Music recently performed at The Barbican for The fifth time, raising money for The Prince’s Trust and is also very excited to be making its Royal Festival Hall debut in October this year to mark The grand finale of The Lord Mayor's Appeal 2011. Lord Mayor, Michael Bear's appeal supports children’s charity Coram and RedR, a charity that trains and provides engineers and oTher relief workers to respond to worldwide emergencies. The celebratory all-English programme concludes with Walton's stunning Belshazzar's Feast. With The aim of producing one of The best amateur chamber choi...    less
