Though founded and based in Whitby, our membership is made up of residents from all over Durham Region an...  moreOur motto is "We sing for the Love of it" and the group is known for its musical excellence and community service throughout Durham Region. Though founded and based in Whitby, our membership is made up of residents from all over Durham Region and the GTA. We truly represent and reflect the diversity of the Region in which we perform. The choir currently numbers 70 to 80 choir members ranging in age from 18 to 80.

We are an amazing community of people who Love to sing,have fun, learn music from all different genres represented in Musical Theatre repertoire. We work all season to put together one huge year end show, staged and in a theatre. Our season goes from September until May.

From many walks of life, we all share our Love of music. We are a chapter of Sweet Adelines International in Region #19, and invite women of all ages to visit us. The only requirement is the Love of singing. Any woman, with or without musical training, can find a part that fits her voice. We're looking for melody and harmony singers. See where you belong. Our regular season consists of at least 4 concerts featuring a variety of musical genres and styles. Because we seek to create meaningful musical experiences, we value interaction and education in our performances. Our audience members often tell us how much they Love learning about the music from our director’s comments, which help them more fully enter into the music and enjoy it.  less
