All singing levels and abilities are very welcome, from complete beginners who think they may be tone deaf to professional singers. Under the direction of Diana Clark since 2009, Children’s choir consists of caring young musicians from diverse cultural heritages, ages 9-15 years old. Storytelling, joy of singing, connection and flexibility of performance are the core values of this group. The choir also loves to work with guest conductors and share with other choirs. They have recently been guest singers with Vancouver Chamber choir. Since 1989, when Donna Otto founded the group, Coastal Sound Children’s choir has performed at important cultural events in Greater Vancouver and Whistler, has toured extensively throughout the world, and has co-hosted the Coastal Sound International Choral Festival. coastalsoundmusic.com  less

In the past years, Chamber choir Orfej has received a number of awards, which places them among the more prominent Slovenian choirs. Orfej has proven its high level of vocal performance in April 2010 at the prestigious Slovene national choir competition ‘Naša Pesem’ (i. e. ‘Our Song’). The choir scored 93 points, received the gold award, and the second prize in the category ‘mixed choirs’.

An auditioned choir of around 25 members, Tamesis is a high-standard choir, capable of singing 8-part repertoire on a few rehearsals and having fun while doing it!
