The creative possibilities of The collective, consisting of 30 professional musicians, are inexhaustible. They constantly work on new programs of Russian works (D. Bortniansky, P. Tchaikovsky, S. Rachmaninov, G.Sviridov) and Western classics (I.S.Bach, G.Gendel, D.Bukstehude, W.A. Mozart). Then They prepared premieres of works By contemporary Belarusian composers as S.Kortes, V.Kopytko, A. Background
The Simon Carrington Chamber Singers (SCCS), Led By artistic director Simon Carrington, is a world class choral music ensemble based in Kansas City. The group was founded in 2008 By three of Carrington’s former students who shared The desire to form an elite professional vocal chamber ensemble under his direction.
SCCS, an ensemble of 24 singers, performs a diverse and challenging repertoire that spans The ages. The group showcases a unique sound that reflects Carrington’s musical sensibilities: a clear, bright tone with a measured use of vibrato which allows a clear and expressive delivery of The text. In addition we have a choral scholarship programme for music students. We are Led By Jonathan Wikeley, our Director of Music and Assistant Organist, Emma Howarth.
We sing 3 out of 4 Sundays at All Saints Church Fulham at both The 9:30am Sung Eucharist and 6pm Choral Evensong. We have weekly rehearsals on Wednesdays at 8pm.
