The group was formed in 2016 with sixteen pioneer members representing The 16th note on The logo of Quorista. The FGC "Golden Girls are proud of being The founder members of this young up and coming Girls Choir in The Western Cape. FGC is a High School choir that is comprised of girls between The ages of 13 and 18.

The SouThend Boys' Choir was formed in 1972 and The Girls' Choir in 1988. The choirs perform regularly in major London venues including Royal Albert Hall, and sing with professional orchestras. The choirs perform regularly in major London venues including Royal Albert Hall, and sing with professional orchestras. They also tour extensively, and have performed in US, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Seychelles and across Europe. We welcome visiting choirs and enjoy joining with oTher youth choirs in concerts. We have a training choir for younger singers, and a choir for boys whose Voices have changed.
