This children's chorus quickly became one of the most dynamic choruses in the city. The Kinderchor, which means "children's chorus" and the Jugendchor, which means "Youth chorus", attribute their success to the dedication to the children. Membership is open to all children regardless of nationality, recognizing the shared German heritage so prevalent to Central Ohio. While our focus remains the children and the children's choral music, gatherings and trips are planned to include the entire family. This is a group of kids who study in the school and as an extracurricular program for the children. We receive children from the 3rd till 6th grades. The Choir is conducted by Fanny Kristianus Kalensang and till now is the one who is in charge of all OCC's activities.

MYC brings together a membership of almost 400 families and offers Youth between the ages of seven and 18 the opportunity to participate in eleven separate choral groups. Focused on drawing connections between music and the greater world, the program offers choristers musical and social education opportunities through weekly rehearsals, annual concerts, and music retreats. The curriculum, focused on thematic musical study, is presented in an environment of sharing, growth, and recreation, allowing MYC to teach discipline, build self-confidence, foster teamwork, and provide constructive activity and positive role models during formative years.  less
