The School's Choir became very successful in The mid-1980s, winning many competitions including The Llangollen Eisteddfod. When School was over, it seemed natural to carry on singing togeTher as a Choir, and The group's achievements included reaching The semi-finals of Sainsbury's Choir of The Year and appearing on Opportunity Knocks. In The 1990's, The Choir moved to Harrow and officially became known as Jubilate. Sarah Stroh took over as Musical Director in 1999 and since Then The Choir has grown significantly, doubling in size to its current membership of 43. There are still some original members of The Choir, who have been singing togeTher for more than 25 years. Our recent competition successes include winning The Barnardo's National Choir competition in March 2013 and The ladies Choir, folk and popular music classes and runner-up with distinction in The sacred music class in The 2012 Mid-Somerset Festival. Η επιλογή των μελών της Χορωδίας γίνεται ύστερα από ακροάσεις και οι χορωδοί τη...  moreΗ Παιδική Χορωδία του Συλλόγου Φίλων Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης (ΣΦΜΘ) ιδρύθηκε το 2008, στα πλαίσια των ευρύτερων καλλιτεχνικών προγραμματισμών του Μεγάρου Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης. Η επιλογή των μελών της Χορωδίας γίνεται ύστερα από ακροάσεις και οι χορωδοί της εκπαιδεύονται, αφενός στην ανάγνωση και ερμηνεία μουσικών έργων και αφετέρου στην φωνητική διαπαιδαγώγηση. Στόχος της Χορωδίας του ΣΦΜΘ είναι η πραγματοποίηση συναυλιών, τόσο σε συνεργασία με το Μέγαρο Μουσικής, όσο και με άλλους πολιτιστικούς φορείς στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό (σε εκδηλώσεις όπως κοντσέρτα, όπερα, χορωδιακά φεστιβάλ). Για την επίτευξη των καλλιτεχνικών στόχων της Παιδικής Xορωδίας συνεργάζονται παιδαγωγός φωνής και πιανίστα, δίδοντας στους μαθητές-χορωδούς πολύτιμες συμβουλές για την καλλιτεχνική τους πρόοδο.
