Almost from the very beginning, it has been afliated with St. John’s Archcathed...  moreCantores Minores Male choir of St. John’s Archcathedral Cantores Minores was founded in 1990 by Joseph A. Herter, with assistance from Ryszard Gieros and Alfred Stefankiewicz. Almost from the very beginning, it has been afliated with St. John’s Archcathedral in Warsaw, initially as a boys’ choir. It has performed with many Polish and foreign symphony orchestras. foreign tours have taken the choir to over twenty countries. It has won numerous awards at international choral competitions, including those in Lecco, Italy (1997), Moscow (2000), Prague (2002, 2003, 2004, 2017), Międzyzdroje, Poland (2004), Warsaw (2013, 2015, 2016), Grójec, Kraków and Łomża (2017). It has also taken part in several television and theatre productions. Cantores Minores is a co-founder of the Polish Section of the International Federation of Pueri Cantores. That talk is usually centered around topics relating to sexual maturation – the birds and the bees. However, in the life of a black child, there’s an additional talk that needs to happen: what to do if they are pulled over or have an encounter with the police. It boils down to four basic principles with the fourth being the ultimate goal: 1. Pull over. Don’t run. Keep calm; 2. Keep your hands where they can see them; 3. Be polite. Save your rage; 4.
