Since 2000, director John Bradley has been creating original editions of Music for the ensemble, some of it secreted in manuscript collections since the 16th century. Working in concert with libraries, liturgical historians and institutions, Polyhymnia hopes to both
preserve and reintroduce choral masterworks of the Renaissance and early Baroque in ways that both entertain and elucidate. the Addison Group of Singers is made up of four different Choirs for singers of all ages, abilities and Musical interests. It was founded more than 30 years ago with David Wordsworth as its Musical Director from 1995 to 2023. Our current classical Musical... morethe Addison Group of Singers is made up of four different Choirs for singers of all ages, abilities and Musical interests. It was founded more than 30 years ago with David Wordsworth as its Musical Director from 1995 to 2023. Our current classical Musical Director is Matthew Thomas Morgan, and our current jazz Musical Director is Jill Jarman.
the group comprises two classical Choirs – an auditioned Chamber Choir and a much larger non-auditioned Oratorio Choir; and two jazz Choirs – an auditioned mixed Jazz Ensemble and a larger non-auditioned all-female Jazz Choir. It also offers two different singing classes to meet the needs of beginners, intermediate and the more experienced singer.
