The group performs repertoire that expresses a uniquely feminine spirit, especially works that promote the best interests of women in society. Vox Grata sings concert programs that directly benefit the needs of women in the Nashville community. The Singers also enjoy the opportunity to mentor exceptional High School and college-aged women who participate in the choir as part of its choral scholar program.  less

The majority are sung a cappella (unaccompanied) in 4-part harmony. The choir is divided into three chapters, each practicing the same material on either Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Singers are welcome to choose the night that works best for them and to come to additional nights if they wish. The choir had a transfer of leadership as of September ...    less
