Belle Canto was the first choir formed in the Cantilon family and remains its only adult Ensemble. In touring and recording, Belle Canto has distinguished itself as one of today’s foremost women’s Ensembles. Originally a group of university students, the choir now consists of amateur Singers from all walks of life. Belle Canto particularly enjoys exploring the contemporary repertoire of Eastern Europe and Scandinavia and has recorded much of this repertoire on their disc, Invocation.  less

We sing a varied mix of music from traditional ballads and songs from the West End shows, to popular numbers. We welcome new adult members with or without prior choral experience. You do need some musical ability, but it's not essential to read music. Rehearsals are in Wembdon, near Bridgwater, on a Tuesday evening.
