To date they have given over 1500 local youngsters vocal coaching and experience of professional-standard live performance. WYV is run by a team of experienced volunteers who give their time freely to be able to pass this experience on - the team consists of two primary school teachers, two doctors and a critical care nurse! Warwickshire Young voices provide high quality musical activities for children from age 2 to age 16 through a range of classes, choirs and workshops. In all activities, Warwickshire Young voices prides itself on professionalism - with performances reaching the highest standards. Their Musical Director, and resident composer, often writes music specifically for the children. Warwickshire Young voices are a busy group. We compete in our local music festivals and have sung on stage with Blake. We are a very democratic, mutually supportive group of women ranging in age from 10 to 70!
