Through dedication a...  moreThe Harmonious Chorale-Ghana is a multiple award winning non - denominational, semi-professional Choir established in the capital of Ghana, Accra, in 2005 as a Quartet which later transformed into a full-fledged Choir in October 2007. Through dedication and hard-work, The Harmonious Chorale has carved for itself a niche and an identity which has provided mentoring opportunity for many choral groups in and outside Ghana, staging over thirty five (35) well executed and attended concerts in Ghana alone. In 2018, Harmonious Chorale became Champions of the World Choir Games (Category C28) during its maiden participation in Tshwane, South Africa. It also picked up three Gold Diplomas in the competition.  less

In the near future the Choir plans a Christmas concert (22-12-2012) at the Rondo Histriae Concert Hall in Pula. There will be a variety of seasonal classical and popular evergreens.

ABOUT THE Choir: Since 2009, the CWU Chamber Choir has held annual recording sessions to create videos specifically designed for YouTube. All are under the baton of Dr. Gary A. Weidenaar, who has been the director of the Choir since 2006. As of Fall, 2016; there are 26 videos.
