We are a women's non auditioned Choir. We sing across a wide range of genres from light classical through to pop and rock. We sing in 3-4 parts, and while working hard on our developing sound, we like to have fun!

Roots Chorale started out as an initiative to keep the choral practice alive outside of the church circles and to promote these practices in the community of San Andres Islands Archipelago.

It is located in Ghana, West Africa in a town called Ahinsan in the City of Kumasi. M.I.C performs many kinds of music genre such as Hymns, Choral Anthems, Classical music and contemporary music. M.I.C has its mid-year annual choral program dubbed Marvelous Praise which features lots of Choirs to perform with them on many kinds of music genre. M.i.C also has its end of year music program dubbed Vespira which is entirely music and prayers featuring other Choirs as well. M.i.C has performed at over 500 functions in Ghana since its existence. M.I.C performs at functions such as Choral festivals, Church services, Weddings, and other music functions. In 2012, the birth of the Priamo Gallisay Cultural Association completes the cultural path desired by the founders. The Corale has about 30 members among its ranks.

Vi arbeider med et variert repertoar med stor spennvidde. Det dekker alt frå religiøs musikk til drikkeviser. Gammal og ny musikk, shanty, jazz - inspirert, negro spirituals og elles dei tradisjonelle mannskorverka. Mange forbinder mannskor med 17. mai og gamle tradisjonelle sanger. Os Mannskor stiller villig opp 17. mai med nasjonale musikkskatter, men det er likevel bare en liten del av et frodig bilde. Vi er ikke opptatt av båser når det gjelder musikk. Om den er gammel eller ny, lett eller seriøs, spiller mindre rolle. Det avgjørende er at musikken framføres best mulig og fenger publikum. Oppga...    less
