“Citius, Altius, Fortius!” That was the soaring sound that was heard during the Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Those three Latin words, meaning “Faster, Higher, Stronger,” echoed throughout millions of homes as people around the world tuned in to watch those games. “Call of the Champions” was a spectacular collaboration that inspired hearts and lifted spirits of a nation still reeling from the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. the Mormon Tabernacle Choir performed the national anthem at the opening ceremonies, which included a tribute using the flag that was flown at Ground Zero.

Since 2009 and thanks to his founder, Oscar Allen, the Choral Project has been working with young singers and developing young voices to excell in the interpretation and enjoyment of choral music and group singing.
Due to an intensive and hard work, its members receive a full choral and scenic education, structured in the vocal individual technique and its different types of sound emission; on the development of corporal skills expression, and in the grupal practice of the choral exercise.
This education is complemented by the permanent contact with other artistic disciplines as ballet and theatre are.
Even though the repertoire performed is diverse and heterogeneous, its preferences are focused on the amazing generation of current Spanish composers and the beautiful treatment given by them to the voice.

Comprising both choir and period-instrument orchestra, the Sixteen’s total commitment to the music it performs is its greatest distinction. A special reputation for performing early English polyphony, masterpieces of the Renaissance, bringing fresh insights into Baroque and early Classical music and a diversity of 20th-century music, is drawn from the passions of conductor and founder Harry Christophers.
At home in the UK, the Sixteen are “the Voices of Classic FM” and Associate Artists of the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester. the group promotes the Choral Pilgrimage, an annual tour of Britain's finest cathedrals bringing music back to the buildings for which it was written. the Sixteen has recently featured in the highly successful BBC television series, Sacred Music, presented by actor Simon Russell Beale - a second series which focused on the music of Brahms, Bruckner, Fauré, Pärt and Tave... less

Polyhymnia's singers are drawn from many sources, including some of the finest church choirs in New York
Since 2000, director John Bradley has been creating original editions of music for the ensemble, some of it secreted in manuscript collections since the 16th century. Working in concert with libraries, liturgical historians and institutions, Polyhymnia hopes to both
preserve and reintroduce choral masterworks of the Renaissance and early Baroque in ways that both entertain and elucidate. In addition to the concert series, the ensemble's unique relationship with Saint Ignatius of Antioch, a forerunner in the preservation of historical liturgy, provides opportunities to perform Renaissance and Baroque music in a liturgical context, while fostering musical ... less
