The carollers, an a cappella group, formed in 1977 by director Pierre Massie, is ranked amongst the best of Ottawa choirs by choral critics. We are a non-profit organization, and raise funds for local charities through concert, CD and cookbook sales. This version of "Iesous Ahatonnia" will be included in our next Xmas CD. Diliup had orchestrated the music ...  moreThe ROyal College school song written by late Principal H L Reed has been re-recorded by Kalasuri Diliup Gabadamudalige - an old ROyalist, keeping in line with the original piano music score written by H L Reed himself. Diliup had orchestrated the music in terms of a classical orchestra and recorded it with the vocals of old ROyalist Santhush Weeraman of B&S fame and the ROyal College choir. The re-recording of the school song was an initiative taken by the Secretary RCU Manju Ariyaratne on the advice of the RCU Council together with the consent of Prinicipal Upali Gunasekra.  less

Our home is in heaven, this is a promise, So say yes to salvation." Part of the winter Singing Safari concert, Ipswich 2013. From the singing of the Soweto Gospel Choir, arranged by Chris Rowbury. This concert was the culmination of a six-week project which creates a choir from scratch for one night only. Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch of singers from in and around Ipswich. There are no auditions and all songs are taught and learnt by ear. Usually eight songs are learnt in six two-hour sessions and in the winter are performed at St. Peters by the Waterfront, Ipswich. http://chrisrowbury.com  less
