It was founded in 1998 in response to the success of the Choral Meeting of Alexandria Municipality and mainly because of the Alexandrians who Love the choral music and the encouragement of the Board Members of the Choir at the time. Like Melissanthi, Alexandrian Voices is, in the wider area of Alexandria, the music institution that target to the development of choral music, of course through the good company and the Love for music itself. From the beginning it counts approximately 50 choristers, all amateurs (meaning that none has studied music) who Love and sing almost all kinds of music. Since their beginning, Alexandrian Voices had the opportunity to participate and be distinguished in numerous events, competitions or not, musical or of special interest. We are a fun group of singers that Love to worship with our voices. In their sound they’re combining variety of styles with an emphasis on gospel and pop. They won the 2nd prize in international competition in Verona, Italy in 2008. In 2011. they won silver prize in Rimini, and also, the special prize for the best group up to 12 singers. During 2012. they performed in 3 contests, in Gorizia (ITA) - 1st prize in pop cathegory, Graz (AUT) - bronze in pop cathegory and Rijeka (CRO) - 1st prize in gospel and jazz.  less

We provide music for all occasions, such as private parties, corporate functions, weddings, birthdays, etc., with a varied repertoire in the style of The Manhattan Transfer, New York Voices, The Real Group, Singers Unlimited, The Swingle Singers, Take Six and others. Clearly Vocal was selected as one of seven groups to compete in the 2010 Rocky Mountain Harmony Sweepstakes in Denver, Colorado. As winners of the 2010 Contemporary A Cappella League Showcase, Clearly Vocal was a featured group at the SoJam A Cappella Festival in Durham, North Carolina, November 12 & 13, 2010.  less
