The "family" also includes older levels, a treble chamber choir, a mixed young adult chorus... moreThe Surrey Children's choir family represents 3 choirs, a Junior Training choir, an Intermediate Training choir, and the Senior Surrey Children's choir. The "family" also includes older levels, a treble chamber choir, a mixed young adult chorus, and a community adult chorus.
The Junior and Intermediate Training choirs (JTC and ITC) provide a program of sequentially developed skills which prepare choristers for admission into the Surrey Children's choir. The training choirs perform annually at the Family Christmas Concert and Year End concert (held in May of each year). They also often compete at the Fraser Valley Kiwanis Music Festival, always with great results. The training choirs may also perform at various events in the community.
The SCC, a treble-voice choir of boys and girls aged 12-18 is a consistent gold medal winner at local festivals, hailed by Gerald Van Wyck, Vancouver Community College professor as "one of the best children's choirs in Canada". These exuberant young vo... less

The BAVE CHAMBER choir is focus group formed out of the BAVE Community choir in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia in 2017 to participate in music festivals and events. Members of the choir come from the multi-cultured community around the Klang Valley. The BAVE Chamber choir is part of the BAVE Community choir. BAVE Community choir was launched in 2015 as part of BTSM’s outreach to the community. Both the Community and Chamber choirs are part of the Broadway Theater Society Malaysia’s activity groups. Members of the Chamber choir will have to first be part of the main Community choir. The BTSM is a non-profit organization, formed to promote performing arts in Malaysia by the community, for the community. BAVE maintains a strong policy that “Everyone Can Sing”. The tagline for BAVE is “NO AUDITION & NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED”. The choir is non-auditioned but members who join will have to commit to rehearsals and group activities.
