Since then...  moreThe Ateneo Chamber Singers (ACS) was formed in 2001 by graduating members of the Ateneo College Glee Club who had then just completed a very successful tour of Europe, bagging top prizes in Italy, IrelAnd, Slovenia, France, Germany And Hungary. Since then, the ACS has established itself as a formidable presence in the Philippine musical lAndscape. Their unique specialization in sacred choral music has opened a richly eclectic mix of European, American And Asian choral literature That spans medieval to postmodern periods, traditional to contemporary styles, complex art music to highly-textured indigenous music, And moving sprituals to psalmody hewn out of traditional Asian musics. The choir was such a success And those involved enjoyed it so much That it was decided to continue. The Choir is a training Choir with the children having opportunities to sing or speak solo lines And learn harmonies. Current members are aged between 4 And 12. The Harmonic Minors is the Major Minors Children's Choir's extension group. This is an auditioned choir for older children And teens.  less

In October 2012, the choir was awarded the prestigious title of Choir of the Year 2012, after an extensive UK-wide search And a competitive GrAnd Final held at London's Royal Festival HAll. The ensemble was established in 2007 by present musical director Andrew Nunn And performs regularly across ScotlAnd And beyond, having given concerts in renowned venues such as Glasgow Cathedral, the SECC, Dunkeld Cathedral, Paisley Abbey, the Mackintosh Church, the Queen's HAll, the Glasgow Royal Concert HAll And London’s Cadogan HAll.
