Don't throw away your shot to join us in our milestone 25th season, including songs from Hamilton, Coldplay and Dear Evan Hansen! Are you a legal professional who's looking for a fresh way to connect with your musical interests and like-minded legal eagles while giving back meaningfully to our community? The 80+ voice New York City Bar Chorus ("CBC") will conduct a limited number of auditions (brief, private and low-pressure), with primary focus on baritones, basses and high sopranos, for our fall 2017 cycle. We rehearse about three Tuesday evenings per month, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, in midtown Manhattan to produce what listeners describe as a professional-quality sound, spanning musical theater, jazz, pop/rock, gospel and classical styles. For example, this fall's repertoire will include sophisticated arrangements of Tony- and Oscar-winning music from Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, The Wiz and La La Land. Paralia is a touristic seaside village situated on the west coast of the Thermaic Gulf and in the shadow of Olympus. The Festival has two parts: competitive and non-competitive. However, the character and the main concept of both parts is joining music, vacation, friendship and fun. The idea of the Festival is to bring the music closer to the people and to present the music on the streets and the squares of Paralia, Olympic Beach and Katerini. All Choir ensembles, regardless of the members’ gender and age can apply for participation at the Festival.  less
