Durch die Jahre im Knabenchor musikalisch geprägt, führte der Weg alLe vier EnsembLemitglieder zum Lübecker Kammerchor „I Vocalisti" unter der Leitung von Hans-Joachim Lustig, mit dem sie zahlreiche Preise gewannen, u. a. beim Deutschen Chorwettbewerb und bei internationaLen Kammerchorwettbewerben wie Marktoberdorf, Tolosa (Spanien) und Cork, Irland. They were deeply touched by Oguchi’s music and established the EnsembLe Choir SPERA. Making its debut in concert in March 2014 at Tokyo Opera City Recital Hall, SPERA’s music was highly prized and well-reviewed in newspapers. It serves in Masses and services and performs in concerts as an ecumenical choir, composed of students from Kitasato University, International Christian University, Hitotsubashi University and Rikkyo University.
