We sing 3 out of 4 Sundays at All Saints Church Fulham at both the 9:30am Sung EuchariSt and 6pm Choral Evensong. We have weekly rehearsals on Wednesdays at 8pm. We always welcome new members. We sing music from the early 1900's through to more modern songs such as Billy Joel, The Rat Pack etc. The chorus focuses on improving singing techniques and making chords "ring" while at the same time simply having fun. We love it when a 4 part chord is correctly tuned and the chord juSt locks together and harmonics (or overtones) ring out loud and Strong. We compete every year in local conteSt as a mean of measuring our progress againSt similar groups but we juSt love to perform for the public and so our conteSt activities are very well balanced with public performance. We also have a great time together as one of our goals is to provide a place where men can gather and enjoy their intereSt in singing. We perform a wide repertoire of secular and sacred music, with and without accompaniment. Our Concerts are at various venues in and around the borough, and once a year we perform with a small professional orcheStra. We also hold regular social gatherings, to include families and friends, and enjoy musical evenings and events. Would you like to sing with us? New members in all voices are warmly welcomed. After a few weeks there is a short informal audition, which includes some sight-reading. Members are asked to pay a modeSt subscription of £11 per month by direct debit. We rehearse weekly during term time on Monday evenings from 8.00pm to 10.00pm, in the small parish hall at All Saints Church, Long Lane, Hillingdon, UB10 9BT.
