Aside from its undeniable musical prowess And versatility in performing classical, Filipino folk, pop, And Broadway genres—All with ease, the Concert Chorus is also recognized as the pioneer of choreographed song for a choir. This innovation was started by the late Dean Reynaldo T. We are dedicated to quality performances, music education, And community service. As the resident choral ensemble of the SAndler Center for the Performing Arts, we perform a varied repertoire from classics to Broadway And rock to Jazz in two main concerts, one during the Christmas season And one in the spring, with additional benefit And collaborative performances throughout the year. Scheduled auditions for new members are held in August And January of each year. The choir performed onstage for the first time on 12th August 2017, in the city of Batumi in Georgia. This concert was organized under the auspices of the Turkish consulate general in Batumi, in the concert hAll of the Zakaria Paliashvili Music School. A selection of modern polyphonic songs from various cultures were performed And the performance received great praise from the audience. Then the choir respectively appeared in front of audiences in Ankara, Kastamonu And Adana, followeed by their participation in Turkey Choirs Festival in June. Canterbury Girls Choir is a non selective choir for girls aged between 7 And 18 from schools in the Canterbury area. The girls perform on a regular basis across Kent And regularly travel to Northern France for concert performances.
