With members graduated from Hong Kong traditional schools like Diocesan Boys’ School, Belilios Public School, St. Paul’s Coeducation College, Ying Wa Girls’ School... moreFounded in June 2010, Ponte Singers is one the of most preeminent youth choir in Hong Kong. With members graduated from Hong Kong traditional schools like Diocesan Boys’ School, Belilios Public School, St. Paul’s Coeducation College, Ying Wa Girls’ School, St. Stephen’s Girls’ College, St. Paul’s College, Wah Yan College Kowloon, and also universities like the Hong Kong University and the Chinese University, the group was immediately invited by the HKSAR government to a celebration performance in early July 2010. The group also presented a standard professional program of sacred music in its first concert “Inspiratio” in August 2010, and a themed concert, featuring a range of masterpieces of Chinese Choral music,「聲.華」in August 2011, which won critical acclaim from local music conductors, composers and musicians.

He wrote the lyrics for the ... moreINVITATION TO LOVE is a setting by Greg Bartholomew for unaccompanied mixed choir (SATB) of the poem by Paul Laurence Dunbar (1872 - 1906). Dunbar was born in Dayton, Ohio, and gained fame as a a poet, novelist and playwright. He wrote the lyrics for the musical comedy In Dahomey (1903), the first all-African-American musical produced on Broadway.
INVITATION TO LOVE is also available for solo voice or unison chorus with piano accompaniment.

All performances are from memory, delivering carefully-structured, semi-choreographed programmes. Repertoire encompasses jazz, show tunes and folk songs as well as opera and the classical repertoire. Members include fellows and alumnae of Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge, as well as singers drawn from the wider community.
