the Surrey Children's Choir family represents 3 choirs, a Junior Training Choir, an Intermediate Training Choir, and the Senior Surrey Children's Choir. the "family" also includes older levels, a treble chamber choir, a mixed young adult chorus... morethe Surrey Children's Choir family represents 3 choirs, a Junior Training Choir, an Intermediate Training Choir, and the Senior Surrey Children's Choir. the "family" also includes older levels, a treble chamber choir, a mixed young adult chorus, and a community adult chorus.
the Junior and Intermediate Training Choirs (JTC and ITC) provide a program of sequentially developed skills which prepare choristers for admission into the Surrey Children's Choir. the training choirs perform annually at the Family Christmas Concert and Year End concert (held in May of each year). they also often compete at the Fraser Valley Kiwanis Music Festival, always with great results. the training choirs may also perform at various events in the community.

We have about 25 members currently, but we are gaining new members each year. We put on two "shows" each year to raise funds that benefit the chorus as a whole. We also perform throughout the year at various venues - retirement communities, nursing homes, churches, banquets, and other events.
