In touring and recording, Belle Canto has distinguished itself as one of today’s foremost women’s ensembles.
Originally a group of university students, the Choir now consists of amateur singers from all walks of life. Belle Canto particularly enjoys exploring the contemporary repertoire of Eastern Europe and Scandinavia and has recorded much of this repertoire on their disc, Invocation. less

Currently numbering 18 singers, FCC has a broad repertoire featuring everything from early music and traditional pieces to the works of contemporary composers such as Whitacre, Pärt, Lauridsen and McMillan, and is Highly regarded at home and abroad.
In 2011, we travelled to Trondheim, Norway, to take part in Sangforening, a major festival featuring hundreds of Norwegian Choirs, and were the first ever foreign Choir invited to take part. 2012 saw us visit Languedoc, France, where we gave concerts in beautiful old churches in Alzonne and Montréal, near Carcassonne. We are active in radio and television, having featured in many broadcasts of recorded and live services by the Irish national broadcaster RTE, including one recorded in Swords CoI church which was broadcast on Christmas day, 2010 and Easter and Advent services in 2012 and 2013.

The Choir was such a success and those involved enjoyed it so much that it was decided to continue.
The Choir is a training Choir with the children having opportunities to sing or speak solo lines and learn harmonies. Current members are aged between 4 and 12.
The Harmonic Minors is the Major Minors Children's Choir's extension group. This is an auditioned Choir for older children and teens.

Our fun and exciting Choir for primary aged children (6-11+) is great for the kids’ personal and musical development. We have performed on BBC Radio London, at Wembley Stadium, and recorded an advert at studios where Harry Potter and Shrek were made. We meet on Wednesdays, 4.30-5.30pm in NW3, and there are no auditions. We sing a wide variety of music, including classical, Disney, musical theatre, rock, pop and music from around the world.
After a £20 three-week trial (not an audition, just to see if your child enjoys the Choir), the fee is £10 for each remaining week of term (siblings 25% off, discount available if you have concerns about paying).
