The group me...  moreMind & Soul is a community Choir based at The Maudsley Hospital in South London, which is open to SLAM service users/staff, Their friends and carers, local people and anyone who accesses mental health services, as well as those who don't. The group meets every Wednesday evening in The gym at The Maudsley Hospital, 115 Denmark Hill SE5 8AZ between 6-7pm. Our patron is The wonderful Mary King.  

Performed live by Viva, Sandnes Kulturskolekor and recorded in a concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (!) in 2006. Composed by Rolf Løvland, famous from his own works of course, and also The group "Secret Garden". Soloist: Karoline Krogedal

World Choir Games Graz 2008 sind der größte Wettbewerb in der Geschichte der Chormusik. Es waren rund 441 Ensembles aus 93 Nationen dabei. Nach Graz waren auch die Sängerinnen und Sänger unseres Gospelchores Rejoice mit ihrem Leiter, unserem Kirchenmusiker und Küster Roland Orthaus gefahren. Und sie siegten! Rejoice holte eine von nur 6 Silber-Medaillen, die an Deutschland vergeben wurden. Für Rejoice bedeutet das, dass sie "Deutscher Meister" und "Vize-Europameister" in der Kategorie „Gospel/Spiritual" geworden sind.  less

It also reflects much of The liturgical and popular symbolism of The Christmas season: robins, holly etc and it brings our thoughts towards The season of Easter with The blood of Good Friday.
