The choir was founded by Marcus Lee, with a vision of promoting and cultivating interest and appreciation for choral literature within Singapore. The choir is dedicated to artistic excellence, and endeavors to explore and analyze choral literature to achieve this goal.  

We are one of the oldest ladies choirs in South Wales, formed in 1947 we have performed at the Millenium Centre, BBC Proms in the Park Caerphilly, and a special performance at Speakers House, House of Commons, London. The Department has...  moreThe University Chorale performs the "Song of Ruth" by Rudy Lupinski and Victoria Davison. The East Central University Department of Music as part of the School of Fine Arts is housed in the beautiful Hallie Brown ford Fine Arts Center. The Department has over two hundred participating students of which approximately half are music majors. We have eighteen faculty members and are fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.
