After singing Together in various choirs, they came To realise that their voices blended effortlessly, creating an exclusive sound and experience. They have now, in an understated way, established themselves as a much sought after ensemble with followers all over the world.
They’ve travelled extensively, performing at weddings, corporate events and concerts in venues as far afield as Rome, Los Angeles and Saudi Arabia, but they’re more than happy To perform Closer To home !
The trio creates the perfect atmosphere for your special occasion, be it a wedding, corporate drinks reception or dinner. Their wide ranging reperToire includes well known classical, folk, ballads and contemporary songs.
They’re also willing To learn new songs if you have a particular favourite – and language is no barrier. The list already includes Welsh, English, Italian, L... less

The Hazelnuts are a vocal trio, accompanied by guitar, contrabass & washboard, inspired by the American vocal groups of the 1930's. The group aims To expose the audience To the magic of this genre, which is almost completely forgotten.
The Hazelnuts' concert combines original songs - preserving the musical spirit of the genre and poured inTo a contemporary feminine point of view, and in addition - stylistic adaptations of cotemporary songs and authentic pieces from the thirties.
Band Members:
Yifeat Ziv, Talya Amzaleg, & Shira Z. Carmel – Vocals, Songs and Arrangements
Ariel Givant – Double Bass / Dotan cohen – Guitar / Yoav Elkayam – Washboard

Very much (but not exclusively) in the barbershop stlye. Even though we have only been going a few months, our numbers have been increasing weekly as more and more people are seduced by the magical sound of ringing chords. We aim To be a serious performing chorus in due course.
We have had a very successful 2012 and hope for even better in 2013 where we have a whole host of exciting things planned. Stay tuned!
We'd very much be interested in meeting/collaborating with other choirs in our area. We are on Facebook so have a little look and maybe come and sing a few baas with us! less

The poem is a response To the 8th "O Antiphon" for Advent
O Virgin of virgins, how shall this be?
For neither before Thee was any like Thee, nor shall there be after.
Daughters of Jerusalem, why marvel ye at me?
The thing which ye behold is a divine mystery.
Who are the daughters of Jerusalem,
Who glimpse you still as you transform their seeing?
Whom have you called To this mysterium,
And bathed in the blithe fountain of your being?
Daughters of sorrow, daughters of despair,
The cast-aside, the overlooked, the spurned
The broken girls who scarcely breathe a prayer
The ones whose love has never been returned.
O Maid amongst the maidens, turn your face,
For when we glimpse you we are not alone,
O look us out of grief and inTo grace,
Lift us in love made stronger than our own,
Summon the spring in our worst wilderness,
And make us fruitful in your fruitfulness. less
