Marryatville High School's Special Interest Music caters for selected gifted students and students with Musical potential. Choral music is an essential part of the Musical development of these students. the Concert Choir is an auditioned choir of about 40.

Over 12 weeks students will follow a curriculum tailored to helping each student develop at their own speed in All three areas of the artform. In Singing students will leave voice techniques, explore ensemble singing and perform a variety of repertoire. In acting students will learn how to develop character in scenes and songs, explore the physical journey of a character, improve stage presence and text analysis. In dance students will look at a variety of jazz techniques core to Musical theatre dance as well as perform several Musical theatre routines. Formed in April 2020 as a result of COVID-19, the group started to continue the passion we All share in music.
