Established during the spring of 2011 De Heeren (translated as "the gentlemen") are the latest ensemble of the Netherlands. De Heeren consists of 8 men, most of whom study at the Fontys Conservatoire in Tilburg. What sets this group apart is that is has musical as well as classical trained singers. Due to this wide variety of musical diversity of this group it allows for a broad selection of repertoire. Most of their repertoire is arranged by members of the group and offers an extensive selection of different styles.  less

Concert group counts about 60 people, mainly students, academic teachers and friends outside College. Our repertoire has about 80 a capella works (from medieval to contemporary composers), large sacred forms by Haendel, Mozart and Mendellsohn Bartholdy and 40 carols. We have performed at several festivals and international events (Germany, France, Switzerland, Bulgaria). The choristers met each other during their nine-year education in fine arts as members of the St. Thomas Boys Choir Leipzig. Today the ensemble consists of tenors Christian Pohlers and Paul Heller as well as basses Felix Hübner, Lucas Heller and Lukas Lomtscher. Their repertoire ranges from late medieval mass songs to modern age works. The five young musicians attach great importance to the works of German Romantic composers, such as Schubert, Schumann and Mendelssohn Bartholdy, as well as to their extensive repertoire of church music. The ensemble successfully collaborates with a number of other artists, such as the composer Manfred Schlenker(GER), who dedicated his motet Gott wohnt in einem Lichte to the quintet, on a regular basis. Volker Bräutigam wrote several pieces for them to perform during the festivities at the 35th Leipziger Jazztage. Due tra le ipotesi più accreditate sulla formazione d...  moreCoro Polifonico Maschile Segossini è il nuovo nome che sostituisce Su Cuncordiu Sinniesu fondato a Sìnnai nel 1998. La denominazione attuale vuole essere un richiamo all’origine del toponimo Sìnnai. Due tra le ipotesi più accreditate sulla formazione del nome del paese farebbero infatti derivare Sìnnai dal fenicio sina (rovo, luogo pieno di sterpi) o dal latino medievale sinnum (segno di confine fra i salti di due villaggi). Tali ipotesi sarebbero confermate anche dal nome del secondo villaggio che diede origine al paese: Segossini, che significherebbe per l’appunto “subito dopo Sinnai”, in quanto unione o del termine latino secus o sardo segus (traducibili entrambi con subito dopo o dietro) con il nome sina o sinnum. Il coro è composto attualmente da circa 20 elementi ed è diretto, dal settembre 2010, dal Mº Nicola Manca; il coro è costantemente impegnato nell’apprendimento e nella proposizione di un repertorio corale eterogeneo, frutto di approfondita ricerca e studio, che spazia dal canto Gregoriano ai...    less
