Chantage won the BBC Radio 3 Choir of the Year competition in 2006, recorded live with Elbow at Abbey Road Studios in 2009 and is frequently featured on Classic FM and BBC radio. Chantage performs a wide range of repertoire, programming works traditionally performed by English Chamber choirs alongside lesser known works sourced from foreign choral cultures. Chantage was formed in 1999 by its Musical Director James Davey, and quickly established itself in London as a stylish and energetic young Chamber choir. It draws singers from all over the country and from all walks of life. Strong commitment from its members has helped forge a growing reputation as an outstanding amateur choir with a national reputation. Esta agrupación, pionera y decana de la actividad coral argentina, ha desarrollado una intensa labor artística difundiendo la música coral universal, ofreciendo numerosos conciertos en casi la totalidad de las provincias del país y representando a la Argentina en el exterior. Es el primer coro latinoamericano en adjudicarse el Gran Premio Europeo (Francia - 2009), máxima competencia coral a nivel mundial.
