The song is written for a SATB choir and is sung a cappella. It is a contemplative piece which explores themes of togetherness in adversity and the call for peace. Its opening phrase mimics that of the Last Post and it is intended to be sung as part of an act of remembrance. A part of the concert held on August 8th 2013 in Tribunj (Croatia) during the first edition of "Papandopulijana Tribunj", a festival which has been initiated in the honour of Boris Papandopulo (1906-1991), one of the greatest Croatian composers.

The choir's size allows it to concentrate on performing the larger major choral works to great effect. The choir has also been invited to collaborate with the Philharmonia Chorus and the BBC National Chorus of Wales on many occasions in recent years to tackle some of the choral pieces requiring even greater choral forces such as Mahler's Eighth Symphony, Janacek's Glagolitic Mass, the Dvorak Stabat Mater and La Damnation de Faust by Berlioz.
