Understood to be a reference to the fall of apartheid. As sung by the Polokwane Choir, taught by Northern Harmony. This is from The OK Chorale's first ever public concert in Woodbridge, Suffolk, UK on 24 March 2012. Not the best of lighting! Also a bit shouty in places as it was many of the singers' first time in front of an audience. www.chrisrowbury.com

From John Rutter's Requiem. Performed by the Tidewater Singers, William R. Thomas, Director. April 30, 2011 at Christ Church in Cambridge, Maryland

Recorded live, May 12, 2012.

[A version of this article first appeared as a post on my blog From the Front of the Choir]   Learning and polishing a song can be a long process. Some people find it a chore and can’t wait to get to the end result: a public performance....

The only reason we have been turned down for anything was because we are too Passionate and joyful! We are a true community choir that supports each other in life and our Passion for singing.
