Zaśpiewaliśmy m.in. kilka utworów namibijskich ...  moreKoncert chóru "Razzle Dazzle", podczas którego zaprezentowaliśmy repertuar z najdalszych, muzycznych zakątków świata odbył się 29 czerwca 2019 w Szkole Muzycznej I i II st. im. Zygmunta Noskowskiego w Gdyni. Zaśpiewaliśmy m.in. kilka utworów namibijskich - tradycyjnych i współczesnych - które "Razzle Dazzle" śpiewa jako jedyny chór w Polsce! Na nagraniu usłyszycie: "Teleza pina" oraz "Mutahe Lutobina" Gideon Sifuba - muzyka z Namibii, "Dantani" muzyka: Engelhardt Unaeb - pieśń namibijska, "Sipiri" pieśń namibijska w języku Damara/Nama. These dynamic and talented singer...  moreThe SYC was formed in 1998, as children's Choir singers grew and voices changed! This four part chorus (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) is devoted to music of all styles, including Classical, Broadway and Contemporary tunes. These dynamic and talented singers range in age from 14-25, and include young women in gr.11 and higher, and young men with changed voices. The SYC annually participates in the Family Christmas Concert, and choreographed year end show. They also stage an Orchestra concert each spring, which has presented pieces such as Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass, Vivaldi's Gloria, and Requiems by Mozart, Faure, Rutter, and Daley, to name a few. This year, the SYC looks forward to singing Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. The Youth Chorus joined the senior and chamber Choirs in their 2009 tour to the UK. They were ecstatic to receive 8th place standing in the Mixed Voices category at a festival that boasts participants from over 50 different countries.
