Hey, through the woods girl drove the cattle,
Jasiul set a trap for her there.
You won't catch me in your trap,
but you can persuade me with a kind word.
I won't catch you, girl, you'll get caught yourself
If you go to the meadow, on the hay. less

This tailor made arrangement, from Musical Director Darren Bartlett, maximises the vocal extremities of the voices from both choirs and features soloists from 7 yrs upwards.
The children absolutely light up and are supported but have the depth and experience from vocal ensemble Muzaria.
Enjoy this heartfelt, endearing version of A Million Dreams!

From the beginning our intention was to establish a dialog between ancient vocal music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods and contemporary music from the 20th and 21st centuries. As the vocal requirements of this aim are very important, we pay special attention to the musical and technical preparation of our programmes, in order to provide high quality performances.
Our repertory includes ancient and contemporary music and works from composers such as Claudio Monteverdi, William Byrd, Heinrich Schütz, Tomás Luis de Victoria, Thomas Tallis, Vicente Goicoechea, Darius Milhaud, Francis Poulenc, Vytautas Miskinis, Zoltán Kodaly, Samuel Barber, Benjamin Britten, Astor Piazzolla and Marcos Leite.
In Hora Sexta has regularly taken part in the musical series of concerts organized by Madrid town council and other Spanish institutions since 2003. We have been on tour in Canarias, Barcelona, Valencia, Toledo or La Granja de San Ildefonso. We have also taken par... less

Water Ruminations is a setting of six poems by the thirteenth-century poet Rumi, in English translations from the Persian by Coleman Barks, for double choir and organ. The poetry sings of literal and spiritual connections between water and sky, a drop of water and human life, flowing water and love, drinking water and its container, the giddiness of spring and rolling seas, and the ocean's gifts and singing. Its images, from 800 years ago, speak to us with both vivid immediacy and transcendence.
