Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart, Be all else but naught to me, save that thou art; Be thou my best thought in the Day and the night, Both waking and sleeping, thy presence my light. Be thou my wisdom, be thou my true word, Be thou ever with me, and I with thee, Lord; Be thou my great Father, and I thy true son; Be thou in me dwelling, and I with thee one. Be thou my breastplate, my sword for the fight; Be thou my whole armour, be thou my true might; Be thou my soul's shelter, be thou my strong tower; O raise thou me heavenward, great Power of my power. Riches I heed not, not man's empty praise, Be thou my inheritance now and always; Be thou and thou only the first in my heart: O Sov'reign of heaven, my treasure thou art. High King of heaven, thou heaven's bright Son, O grant me its joys after victr'y is won; Great Heart of my own heart, whatever befall, Still be thou my vision, O Ruler of all. onclick="$(this).getParent().getPrevious().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">less

Away in a manger, no crib for a bed, the little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head. the stars in the bright sky looked down where he lay, the little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay. the cattle are lowing, the baby awakes, But little Lord Jesus, no crying he makes. I love thee, Lord Jesus! look down from the sky, And stay by my cradle till morning is nigh. Be near me, Lord Jesus; I ask thee to stay Close by me forever, and love me I pray. Bless all the dear children in thy tender care, And take us to heaven to live with thee there. *** Soloist: Taja Kolmanič Sound: Grega Žuraj & Damir Ovčar Video production, scenario & directed: Matjaž Feguš Asistent: Tomaž Rihtar Producer: Valerija Dukarić Art. director: Robert Feguš Thanks to Municipality of Podlehnik & St. Trinity Church in Haloze. http://trinityensemble.eu onclick="$(this).getParent().getPrevious().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">less

Because it is noted as printed with permission of an Edinburgh firm, there was clearly an earlier version. Although the song is the unofficial anthem of Dublin and generally regarded as Irish, it was, in fact, written by a Scotsman. This outdoor performance was the culmination of a six-week project which creates a choir from scratch for one night only. Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch of singers from in and around Ipswich. there are no auditions and all songs are taught and learnt by ear. Usually eight songs are learnt in six two-hour sessions and in the summer are performed outdoors near Ipswich. http://chrisrowbury.com onclick="$(this).getParent().getPrevious().style.display='';$(this).getParent().style.display='none';">less
