Calalang, Jr. This speaks of an earnest call to be united under one nation - The Philippines. Performed by The Malabon Concert Singers as Their chosen "maka-bayan" piece at The 5th Biñan National Choral Competition last February 3, 2022. Conducted by Mr. Anthony Go Villanueva, The choir emerged as Champion at The conclusion of The contest.

Founded in 1970 by a group of enthusiastic amateur Singers, our repertoire ranges from The great classical choral works to modern contemporary pieces. Under The skilled direction of Howard Kane, who was appointed musical director in 2008, and ably assisted by Robert Woods The choir has grown in size and reputation. Rehearsals Monday nights are rehearsal nights which are held in Frodsham Methodist Church, Kingsley Rd, WA6 6BA from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. New members are welcome to come along and give us a try. We rehearse from September through to July for our four main concerts, which are held in Frodsham, and also take our music to oTher venues in The area. Groups of Singers from within The choir are available to sing at weddings and The choir regularly puts on events to raise money for local charities.  less

We are a new Vocal Group based in The Black Country. We are specifically aimed at experienced Singers who want to work quickly in a non-regular rehearsal setting. We are specifically aimed at experienced Singers who want to work quickly in a non-regular rehearsal setting. Imagine a Book Club for Choral Singers! Each session every two or three weeks, we will look at a couple of new songs, chosen by differend members of The group, from The whole history of music, form Monvererdi to Madness. We have two experienced conductor/Singers who will be happy to lead any session, but all Singers will be encouraged to lead Their own song choices if They wish. The aim, in The first intance, is to have fun exploring as much choral repertoire as possible, in a fun and collaborative enviroment. We do not intend to book up concerts straight away - once we've had a few meetings and looked at enough repertoire Then we'll think about performances. Let's work to get The music right first!
