we sing in A cappella, we range from ages 25 to 30.. we are classically trained vocally and in composition. we perform in all kind of events such as weddings, cooperate functions, etc.

We come from a wide range of musical backgrounds and have a thriving interns scheme for talented singers from local Schools. HCS is a non-auditioning, mixed-voice Choir of approx 60 voices, based in the south side of Glasgow. We rehearse, in excellent facilities provided by Hutchesons' Grammar School, on Monday evenings, Aug - Nov and Jan - Mar; we give two concerts, in Nov ...  Style.display='';$(this).getParent().Style.display='none';">moreStyle="display:none;">HCS is a non-auditioning, mixed-voice Choir of approx 60 voices, based in the south side of Glasgow. We rehearse, in excellent facilities provided by Hutchesons' Grammar School, on Monday evenings, Aug - Nov and Jan - Mar; we give two concerts, in Nov and Mar, in an on-site auditorium, with 3-manual digital organ. The auditorium can accommodate 60 singers, up to 30 orcheStral players and an audience of around 250 (300 max).  

This composition is based on a text from Alice in Wonderland, which appeals to children and youth Choirs directly. The poem has a clear Structure (verse – chorus), and the vocal parts are kept Straightforward. This work won the firSt prize in the 2013 Composition Competition of the European Choral Association in the frame of the feStival Youth Choirs in Movement.
