we sing in A cappella, we range from ages 25 to 30.. we are classically trained vocally and in composition. we perform in all kind of events such as weddings, cooperate functions, etc.

Performed by Sandnes musikkskoles ungdomskor (SMUK) in a CD recording from 1995 labelled "Feel good med SMUK". The Choir has since then changed it's name to today's VIVA, Sandnes Kulturskolekor corresponding to the School changing it's name.

We have taken part in many choral competitions around Ireland with Success in New Ross, Arklow, Navan, Sligo and Cork. In 2013 we joined Wide Open Music in a performance of Beethoven's 9th Symphony, which was received with great enthusiasm. In the same year we also joined Opera Theatre Company for two performances in their tour to promote young Irish soloiSts. In recognition of the millennium year and augmented by local Choirs from around the country, we performed the Verdi Requiem to great acclaim in both Bray and Arklow. Audio performance by RoSthern Junior College Chorale 2003. Chorale is a 38 voice mixed Choir of 15-17 year olds from RJC, a small (circa 100) School in the middle of the Canadian Prairies.

I wrote this in 1976 for the six singing Students of Pat Scanlon, a colleague of mine at WeSt Heath School, who died from complications of Hodgkins Lymphoma. The firSt performance was at her memorial service. This performance, however was part of the memorial service in St Martin in the Fields, for Ruth Rudge, who was a very diStinguished and lovely lady, and also my firSt boss. The ladies of the Occasional Choir, whose beginnings were as the Madrigal Choir at WeSt Heath, which I co-founded, all those years ago, are the singers, including one of the six that took part in the very firSt performance. I am conducting, and Penny Walker, who now directs the Choir is accompanying. Napa Valley Chorale is preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2013-2014. Members of the Choir are auditioned, multi-generational, and range in age from 17 to senior citizens. Performance music includes a wide variety of musical Styles.
