The Revelations comprising 10 voices, have the distinction of being the only choral group in Sri Lanka & South Asia to win the title ‘Champion of the World Choir Games - in two categories ‘Gospel & Spiritual’ and ‘Male Voice Ensemble’ together wit... moreThe Revelations comprising 10 voices, have the distinction of being the only choral group in Sri Lanka & South Asia to win the title ‘Champion of the World Choir Games - in two categories ‘Gospel & Spiritual’ and ‘Male Voice Ensemble’ together with two Gold Medals and in addition won a Silver Medal in the ‘Popular Choral Music Ensemble’ category, at the recently concluded World Choir Games which was held in Graz, Austria from the 09th to the 19th of July 2008.
The Revelations also has the distinction of making it to the Top 50 Male Choirs in the World as listed by the Musica Mundi World Ranking List, presented by the Interkultur Foundation, who are the organizers of the world’s largest choral competitions.

From 2001-2017 the Choir was directed by jazz musician and conductor Fraser Gartshore. The current musical director is composer and conductor Stephen Harrap.
We specialise in English-language choral music, both sacred and secular. The Choir performs regularly in and around Bonn and is best known for its traditional Christmas carol services and concerts.

Male voice singing is traditio... moreMevagissey is a small fishing village with a population of approximately 2,000 people. It is situated on the south coast of the County of Cornwall, the area of England protruding into the Atlantic Ocean facing North America. Male voice singing is traditionally very popular in the county, there being 33 federated Choirs numbering 1,300 singers out of a total population of nearly half a million.
The Choir was formed in 1974 and quickly matured into one of the leading and largest male Choirs in Cornwall. It now has over 55 members including several founder members.
The Choir gives around 25 concerts each year, raising many thousands of pounds for various charities. On the 10th July 2010 they celebrated their 900th public appearance. During a concert tour of Gibraltar in 1979 they performed in the famous St. Michael's Cave. Subsequent tours have been to Holland/Northern Germany, to the Black Forest area of Germany on two occasions and in 1990 the Choir had a 14 day tour as guests of the Niagara Wine and Grape ... less
