Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, 7:30 PM The Chapel at Concordia University 12800 North Lake Shore Drive, Mequon, WI The Milwaukee Choral Artists, Sharon Hansen, conductor, joins the National Lutheran Choir (Minneapolis, Minnesota), David Cherwein, conductor, for this very special, collaborative performance. Paul Rudoi, winner of MCA's 2011 "Young Composer's Composition Competition" and member of Cantus (also based in Minneapolis), has written a special composition for the combined ensembles that will be premiered in Milwaukee, then repeated in two performances when MCA travels to Minneapolis to perform with the National Lutheran Choir on their All Saints' programs November 3 and 4, 2012. Our home is in heaven, this is a promise, So say yes to salvation." Part of the winter Singing Safari concert, Ipswich 2013. From the singing of the Soweto Gospel Choir, arranged by Chris Rowbury. This concert was the culmination of a six-week project which creates a Choir from scratch for one night only. Each winter and summer, Chris Rowbury gathers a random bunch of singers from in and around Ipswich. There are no auditions and all songs are taught and learnt by ear.
