The Choir's size changes as per the Musical requirements of the specific project being undertaken. The name Singkronies means singing without pause, as well as the desire to sing in a synchronized manner. We are conducted by the talented conductor and tenor, Nicholas Nicolaidis.

Out Aloud is Sheffield's Gay Choir. It was formed in 2006 and enables lesbians, gay men, bisexual and transgendered people in Sheffield to enjoy singing as a community. There are no auditions and members dont need to be experenced singers or read Music.

It was the official Choir of the Masaryk University in Brno between 1999 and 2003. Since then it has continued as a civic association. In 2003 Štěpán Policer took up the artistic leadership of Gaudeamus, since 2007 Dáša Karasová has been leading the Choir. The Choir has been undoubtedly contributing to the advancement of Brno Musical culture by giving concerts and appearing at benefit events annually. Our mission is to spread a message of respect for the natural world through Music from across the globe, and we have performed at events such as Glastonbury Festival 2013 Opening Ceremony, and the United Nations World Environment Day concert in Staines and in Oxford Street, central London. We welcome men and women of all abilities, and sessions are taught by ear so no experience is needed, just a passion for singing and a love of the earth! Our Musical Director is the renowned Susie Ro Prater who has supported Choirs and natural voice movement workshops for many years. Our very enjoyable Choir practices take place once a month at the Hythe Centre in Egham, Staines, easily accessible by train from Central London and free parking onsite. Since its formation in 1964, the Choir appears annually at the Welsh Proms and has performed with many of the world’s leading conductors, orchestras and soloists including: Sir Colin Davies; Sir andrew Davies; Tadaaki Otaka; Owain Arwel Hughes; The London Symphony Orchestra; BBC National Orchestra of Wales; The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra; Raphael Wallfisch, Luciano Pavarotti; Dame Kiri Te Kanawa; Felicity Lott and Bryn Terfel. We have also sung for both the Queen and Nelson Mandela. The Choir’s versatility has led to countless recordings and broadcasts on both Radio and Television, most recently on BBC Radio 4. When Odwa Mvunge return to his birth community in 2012, after completing his Music education studies at Nelson Mandela University, not much has changed. There still was no place in Zolani for the youth to express themselves in cultural activities that was not offered at school nor in the community. After school the youth would loiter around without direction. This lead to the formation of the Zolani Youth Choir. The basic idea and purpose of the Choir is to equip youth of our community with basic Music skills. The Choir consists of 25 scholars from different schools who are between the ages of 12 and 26 years. These scholars have no professional training or background in formal Music, but have proven to have a passion and love for the art.
