Composed from the ranks of the city's top-flight choral ensembles and Singers, the choir seeks to reveal the hidden queer heritage often ignored in the conservative world of classical music.

The New Choir is an auditioned Chamber choir performing choral works from all genres. The choir has been conducting regularly scheduled performances in the Bay Area since its founding. The members of the New Choir have been brought together by their common love for the making of beautiful music. The New Choir is dedicated to the study and performance of quality choral literature and sharing the joy and the spiritual enhancement inherent in the making of music. The New Choir has been recognized for their performances of thoughtfully prepared programs. In the beginning, Greenwood Singers specialized in the performance of a cappella music from different stylistic periods. Its programming has now expanded to include works with soloists, instrumental ensembles and Chamber orchestra. A versatile ensemble, the choir has performed frequently with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra in a wide variety of programs which have included Mahler’s Symphony No. 8, Holst’s The Planets, family Christmas concerts, the concert version of Jerome Kern’s Showboat, Orff’s Carmina Burana (with the Alberta Ballet) and the ESO’s 1992 reunion with the British rock group, Procol Harum. Winners of 10 Gold Medals (incl 3 World Champion Titles) at the World Choir Games 2000-2012. We receive children...  moreOctava Children Choir was founded in 2009 as a part of St. Anthony of Padua Elementary School, located in BSD Serpong, South Tangerang. This is a group of kids who study in the School and as an extracurricular program for the children. We receive children from the 3rd till 6th grades. The choir is conducted by Fanny Kristianus Kalensang and till now is the one who is in charge of all OCC's activities.
