This premier female ensemble, were the first choir in the country to venture into the world of international choral music, and have been truly musical ambassadors to Sri Lanka. They are the only choir to record an international album in 2004 when they were asked to record a single for a Tsunami project where Soul Sounds shared the stage with Cliff Richard, Bill Wyman of the Rolling Stones, Russell Watson (the famed contemporary tenor), Robin and Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees, Steve Winwood, Boy George, Chicago and others. The choir represented Singapore at the 2018 World Choir Games in Tshwane, South Africa, and brought home a gold and a silver medal in separate categories. In 2017, TGS emerged champion for the chamber category in the 5th Vietnam International Choir Competition. Under the leadership of music director, Adyll Hardy, TGS has performed full-length concerts at the Esplanade Recital Studio, Victoria Concert Hall, SOTA Concert Hall and YST Conservatory Concert Hall. For its fifth anniversary, the choir launched its debut EP, now available on Spotify and iTunes.
