We are a mixed-voice choir of around 30 singers, performing a wide variety of secular and sacred "classical"; choral music. We mainly sing a cappella, and tend to focus on lesser-known older works, and modern repertoire, often from living composers. However, this is by no means exclusive! The choir sings three main concerts per year, with a charity carol concert just before Christmas. We are also a sociable bunch, with regular social events and a number of 'spin-off' groups.  less

This auditioned mixed voice adult choir performs a an impressive rep...  moreSince its formation as a Centennial Project in 1967, Fanshawe Chorus London has become one of The largest musical performance organizations in Canada, and The largest in Western Ontario. This auditioned mixed voice adult choir performs a an impressive repertoire of music ranging from symphonic classical to modern favourites under The direction of Maestro, David Holler. Uniquely, The Chorus is backed by its own "Concert Players Orchestra" and is a non-profit corporation operating in partnership with The Media Studies Program at Fanshawe College. This organization has achieved its world class status through its adherence to excellence, and The diligence of individual choristers and continues to grow in quality each season. The London Fanshawe Symphonic Chorus organization is also a two time winner of The Ontario Lieutenant-governor's Award for The Arts for fiscal responsibility and innovative programming.  less

The choir's mission is to nurture Bulgarian talent and instill a love for choral art among young individuals aged 16 to 35. It honors Bulgaria's choral traditions while occasionally embracing contemporary trends in choral performance, employing techniques like body percussion and mise-en-scène to enhance Their vocal craft. Founded as Pastoral - female chamber choir in 1987, nowadays The ensemble carries The name of its originator Irina Stiglich. Тhe choir's repertoire encompasses (or includes) works by both Bulgarian and international composers, spanning eras from The Renaissance to modern times. Founded in 1934, The Victoria Choral Society has played a leading role in Victoria's cultural life, and has performed with every Victoria Symphony conductor since The Symphony’s inception. The choir was created after 200 singers, representing most of The church choirs of The day in Victoria, assembled in 1934 to sing Messiah.
